- Registration will be available through the offical Days in the Diocese (DID) website(https://wyd2027did.org/en). Detailed instructions and schedules will be provided in due course.
- The Days in the Diocese of Incheon will take place from July 29th (Thursday) to August 2nd (Monday), 2027.
- A. In accordance with the pastoral nature of the Days in the Dioceses—which emphasizes 'integration with the local church community'—registration is, in principle, only accepted for groups. Therefore, we kindly ask you to join a group through your local parish, diocese, or national WYD organizing office. If you find it difficult to form or join an individual group, you may contact your country's WYD office or diocesan youth ministry to join a 'Cluster' (a unified group of small-scale participants).
- A. Yes, it is possible. There is no minimum limit on group size. However, an official letter of recommendation (certification) from your country's Bishops' Conference, diocese, religious order, or lay ecclesial movement is strictly required. Additionally, proof of travel insurance for all participants and a clear declaration of responsibility from the group leader must be submitted. For smoother logistics and operations, we highly recommend merging with other small groups in your country to register as a unified cluster.
- A. In principle, partial participation is permitted. However, please note that full-time participants will receive priority regarding homestay placements and program seating allocations. Late arrivals will be accommodated based on remaining resources. If your arrival is delayed by three days or more from the official start date of the Days in the Dioceses, you may not be registered as an official DID pilgrim and could instead be guided to a separate, short-term hospitality program.
- A. Any extended stay after the conclusion of the main WYD event is not part of the official Days in the Dioceses program. Consequently, official support from the diocese—including accommodation, meals, insurance, and transportation—will not be provided. However, as a gesture of pastoral hospitality, we can provide general information regarding Catholic holy sites, cultural experiences, and accommodation options in Korea.
- A. Minors under the age of 19 must be accompanied by a designated legal guardian (a parent or an authorized chaperone). Furthermore, during registration, you must submit a parental consent form, a guardian authorization letter (if not accompanied by parents), and an emergency contact number in Korea. Minors are strictly prohibited from participating individually without a guardian or joining a group with which they have no prior affiliation.
- A. Groups organized through travel agencies are eligible to register, provided they have official recognition from their sending parish or diocese and are accompanied by a priest. If a travel agency recruits participants independently without the official endorsement of the sending church, an external letter of recommendation from the diocesan youth ministry in your country must be submitted.
- A. Groups may select their preferred diocese during the registration process. However, final placements will be determined based on the capacity and specific circumstances of each diocese. If your group has a compelling reason—such as a planned visit to a specific Korean martyrdom site or an existing sister-diocese relationship—please provide detailed reasons during registration.
- A. In principle, this is not recommended. The core essence of the Days in the Dioceses is to foster a deep, meaningful integration with a single local church community. Therefore, spending the entire duration within one diocese will provide the most enriching and profound spiritual experience.
- A. We welcome you with all our hearts! To ensure a seamless and supportive experience, please provide detailed information during registration regarding the type of disability, required assistive equipment, accompanying caregiver details, and any dietary restrictions. The hosting diocese will carefully review these details in advance to provide appropriate facility guidance and tailored program adjustments.
